Dr. Pro K. Bakshi, M.Sc., M.D., Chairman – Council of Electro-Homeopathy System of Medicine Research & Development Institute, Hyderabad Dr. Bakshi is a renowned practitioner, educator, and visionary in the field of electrohomeopathy and natural medicine. The journey of Electro-Homeopathy in South India—particularly in the capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad—has been significant. Dr. K. Bakshi, Chairman of the Council of Electro-Homeopathy System of Medicine, introduced and promoted this system of medicine to the people of the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana). In 1989, established a board to advance and propagate Electro-Homeopathy across India, with the dual aim of providing safe, effective treatment for acute and chronic diseases and creating employment opportunities.With over 35 years of clinical experience and research, he has dedicated his life to advancing the understanding and practice of holistic healing modalities.

After completing his formal education in medicine, Dr. Bakshi developed a deep interest in alternative healing systems that address the root causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms. This passion led him to specialize in electrohomeopathy, integrating it with traditional homeopathy and acupuncture to create a comprehensive approach to wellness.

Dr. Bakshi's approach to medicine is characterized by his deep compassion for patients, his rigorous scientific mindset, and his respect for traditional healing wisdom. He believes that true healing occurs when we address the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health simultaneously. During the tenure of the Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. T. Rama Rao, my proposal was forwarded to the Health Secretary of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Subsequently, the Governor, Shri Kumud Joshi, directed the matter to the AYUSH department of Andhra Pradesh for further consideration and adoption of the system. In 1997, I organized a World Congress Meeting in Hyderabad to address global health issues at the United Nations level. Distinguished guests—including prime ministers, presidents from various countries, and consuls general from around the world—were invited to participate in this historic conference. Prior to the event, the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, formally issued a letter granting me permission to host such an international gathering. The Metropolitan Court of Secunderabad duly acknowledged these developments, underscoring the growing recognition of Electro-Homeopathy as a valuable, harmless system of medicine offering light and life to patients across the nation.
