Dr. K.A. Bakshi, an Honorary Doctor, was initially preparing for prestigious civil services like I.A.S., I.F.S., and P.S.C. after completing his M.Sc. and M.D. in Electro Homeopathy. A transformative moment came when he decided to dedicate his life to serving society, particularly those suffering from fatal diseases like Cancer and AIDS.

For over ten years, Dr. Bakshi has been developing and propagating Electro Homeopathic Pathy worldwide. His dedication and expertise led to his unanimous nomination as Chairman-Cum-Director of the Council of Electro Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Research and Development Institute in Hyderabad.

Dr. Bakshi had the unique opportunity to establish the Council at the historical location associated with Sultan Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah, the founder of Hyderabad City. This prestigious location near Charminar, Macca Masjid, Birla Mandir, and other historical monuments symbolizes the integration of traditional healing with modern electrohomeopathic practices.

In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Bakshi was nominated as one of the five members of the Advisory Committee for the Vth All India Electro Homoeopathic Medical Conference held in New Delhi in March 1983.

The college has been named "Bakshi Electro Homeo and Alternative Medical College" in honor of Dr. K.A. Bakshi and its historical location in Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh - a city renowned for its prestigious monuments and hills.

Founded on the principles of public instruction and social service, the college is primarily dedicated to advertising, propagating, developing, and promoting the Electro Homeopathic mode of treatment among the masses.
